How We Serve
Mission & Outreach at Covenant
Mission & Outreach is one way we can live out the Gospel and share the love of Christ with our community and those in need around the world. In 2025, Church of the Covenant gave $16,500.00 with organizations with over $11,000.00 supporting local organizations.
In April 2026, Covenant hosted its first annual "Spring Alive" event. Covenant's partner organizations joined us for an Outreach Fair where community members learned about the work of local nonprofits.
In Summer 2026, Covenant is participating in a few different service opportunities. See below for more information.
Summer Service Opportunities with Covenant
MAKE LUNCHES AND/OR DONATE FOOD FOR VERANO ALEGRE SUMMER CAMP
Verano Alegre Summer Camps are being offered through a partnership between Challenging Racism, Congregational Action Network, Clarendon Presbyterian Church, and Rock Spring United Church of Christ. Verano Alegre Summer Camps are free and aimed at children who would not be able to afford to go to camp this summer.
After worship on Sunday, July 26th Covenant will make sandwiches and put together bagged lunches for 30 kids at the Verano Alegre camp.
Email directoreducation.covenant@gmail.com if you're able to help make lunches or donate the following: 30 non-soda individual beverages, 30 halos/tangelos, money for lunchmeat.

DONATE SCHOOL SUPPLIES
Buy school supplies to donate to Bridges to Independence for their annual Back-to-School Drive. Bring donations with you to church on Sundays, August 2nd, 9th, and 16th. Your donation will empower a student to put their best foot forward as they start the school year!

Covenant hopes to host a Red Cross Blood Drive on a Saturday in October. If you or someone you know can donate blood in October, please email directoreducation.covenant@gmail.com to show your interest or sign-up in the church lobby.
