Stephen Ministry

The Bible advises that we should “bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the love of Christ.” Stephen Ministry is one vehicle for doing that. Stephen Ministry provides an effective way to organize and equip a team of congregation members to provide one-on-one, Christ-centered care to people in the community undergoing challenges, such as illness of a family member, impending retirement, or stresses related to aging.

Stephen Ministries St. Louis provides leadership for this program, which includes in-depth training for Stephen Ministers and Stephen Leaders, ongoing continuing education, and consultation upon request. You can learn more about this international, ecumenical program at www.stephenministries.org.
