Christian Formation in Series
Sundays 9:45 am in the Library Lounge
Grab your coffee in the lobby or at your favorite outside supplier (sometimes there is Dunkin Donuts coffee) and meet the group that sits around a table for about an hour before worship. Topics vary throughout the year.
For Fall of 2017, watch for information on the topic "The Church Reformed, Always Reforming"--a series on the Presbyterian Church's role in the Reformation.
Monday Morning Quarterbacks (MMQB)
Mondays, 8:30 am in the Teen Lounge, Education Wing
This group of men has been meeting weekly for more than 20 years. They are just what the name implies; a group who are second-guessing, forecasting, recounting and generally discussing sports and any other current topics--politics, economics, theology, Arlington, food, movies and of course, Church of the Covenant. No punches have ever been thrown nor has anyone ever been turned away. Juice, donuts or biscuits, coffee, and tea are also on the menu. Open to all!
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Tuesdays, 10:00 -11:00 am in the Library Lounge -- Resumes on October 3
The Book of Romans is the Apostle Paul's most complex letter, but the one that has informed the Christian church from its earliest beginnings. It's also the New Testament that most informed the Reformers of Europe in the 16th century. Begining September, Elder Susan Tarr will lead a study about the New Testament book of Romans. Come meet others who will be participating and decide for yourself whether you want to join in the journey. Have any questions? Contact teacher: Susan Tarr through the church office.
